- Processed only on the family's own computers: All child video and audio is processed only on computers the family owns and controls. Nothing is uploaded to Justice Apex servers, to any cloud service or to any third party.
- No Centralized Child Data: HAVEN is designed for a federated architecture in which only anonymized, aggregated features would ever leave a family's own computers. Today HAVEN runs for a single family and no child data or derived features are shared with anyone.
- No cloud service and no accounts: HAVEN has no cloud service and no online accounts. No child data and no HAVEN user data is stored on Justice Apex servers.
- Parental Consent: Within the founder's own household, written parental consent is recorded before any recording is processed, and processing refuses to run without an active consent record. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Consent for any other family will be established under IRB approval before any of their data is collected.
